146 Hunting and stalling

I have a N reg 146, which has just started hunting (500-1000 rpm) and stalling when slowing down. Is there a quick fix. Im driving to gatwick tomorrow, and i need the car. Could i drive it with this problem?

Re: 146 Hunting and stalling

Probably IAC failure, it's a shame you have the ti, as you cant just hook it up with any code reader, the M2.10.3 ECU sees to that, but Unidiag will work. But in the mean time, unplug the Lambda and see if it sorts it out. if it does then replace the Lambda, if not then clean the throttle body and breather hoses, if that fails then your going to need a new IAC.
