Sub frame - torque setting for bolts
This is related to an earlier thread I started on top mounts which was getting a bit on the long side.
I have now changed top mounts & bearings & sorted stripped nuts on the n/s lower control arm. As I mentioned before the creaking remains & Kelv pointed out that he sorted his problem out by tightening the mounting bolt for the sub frame adjacent to the strut - Now, I had a look today & did a quarter turn on the nut when discretion stepped in!
Having had stripped bolts on the control arm - is there a danger of a similar problem with captive nuts for the sub frame?
Could anyone confirm the torque settings for the sub frame bolts?
