Hi everyone - I need your brains!
I tried to start my car earlier this evening and she wouldn't oblige, sniff. It's all a bit strange because I'd just driven fifty miles with absolutely no problems or strange noises and then an hour and a half later she turns over but won't start.
Everything else seems to work (lights on dashboard go out), the battery's fine, I have fuel and oil, there's no drips, smells, smoke, knocks or clanks, etc.
I can hear a very faint whirring noise coming from the (left?) rear of the car when I turn the key and then it fades away.
Would I have a fuel cut off switch to test or is this something more serious? I have to move the car because I left it at work this evening but I can't start it.
Any ideas please? Many many thanks x
