145 has gone BANG
Been busy over the last week or so. You all might know that I used to have a 155 which through no fault of my own ended up slightly banana-ed. The engine in it was a fine young man, so I bought it back off the insurance and stripped it for bits. The engine, I cleaned up and at one point intended to sell. Its the 2.0 16v jobbie.
The I bought to replace it threw a wobbler a while ago - one of the spark plug holes has a stripped thread, which resulted in the plug being blown out. I fixed it with some liquid metal and intended to throw the 155's lump in it when I found time.
I now need to find the time. The plug has just (last 1/2 hour) gone Bye Bye again. DOH.
I have also mostly been buying a 146ti with a knackered bottom end and no head - its in the boot. I am going to use the bottom end out of the to fix and sell. When I find the time.
Anyone have a copy of the service manual? Particularly the volume which covers 16v engines? It might come in handy...........
