Problems again, but so what is new with alfa ?
Have just carried out the first oil change on the 146Ti, only to find that the drain plug was rather tight. Upon re-installation, it felt a little light, so tightened it gingerly.
Are there problems with the alloy sump drain threads, and can they be repaired (heli-coiled), or would a replacement sump be required (expensive )?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not so sure that the helicoil is a very cheap option. The set I bought cost £80. I did sell it onto Phaderunner though (with 4 coils left), and I'm sure he'll want to be selling it once he's done his. PMing him about it might be your best option.
I've not done mine yet as I'm busy working on the 75 and I'm not ready for an oil change yet. I'm happy to lend you the bits (and give you one of the coils) if you'll cover the postage there and back. Let me know if you're interested.
