Aaarghh....! Help please.

Here’s a little story for you…..

This tale concerns a Blatting Alfa on a country lane one night, an unfortunate Basset Hound-sized Badger (it didn’t know what hit it…*) a mangled bumper and ripped off sill strip. naughty

Needless to say, this needed fixing for the M.o.T., so I decided to strip it of and apply copious amounts of fibre-glass and resin and lashings of stuck-together fingers (note to me – remember disposable gloves next time.)

Whist waiting for the resin to harden, I had the bright idea of visiting the world of ‘T-Spark HT Leads and Spark Plugs’ – how weird.

Then disaster struck… eek!

I found out where I keep my spare oil – Spark-plug hollows 1,2,7 and 8. eek!

Then I think ‘ah take off the rocker cover and have a gander’ – every pigin’ screw is covered in oil… eek! eek!

Can anyone set my mind at rest and tell me that I’m only looking at replacing the rocker cover gasket and not some major, stupidly expensive repair…PLEASE !

*apparently Badgers find it difficult to differentiate between different makes of cars – even Alfas
