Re: My Progress & Timing Question
Right,i am up to the stage of fitting the belt, however i sat camshaft in with cyl`1 lobes to the rear, but the inlet cam is out slightly with all caps 3/4 tight i cant turn the cam to allow the cam timing block to fit.
I have followed the cam variator guide and it does not say that the cam will be out slightly when tightning.
Shall i locate the bolts on the cam timing block and slowly tighten to allow the lobe to rotate cam to the right bit.
Also the timing belt tensioner i know hot to use the tool to revolve the tensioner, but were should the pin be pointing, even when rotating the pin stays in the same position....is this correct
