To be honest mate, I think half of it makes very little difference! Car manufacturers like alfa plough thousands into r&d, and them these aftermarket manufacturers think they can improve a product that they have had no part in the development with. Dont get me wrong, somethings like fueling and air have to be a compromise, and im sure some cars are compromised severely, but I think with a sporting brand like alfa, and certainly the older models, performance is always important on the agenda. I run the panel, and it seems ok, the induction system that i bought was taken off at the weekend, because I think it actually made the car less driveable. I wouldnt worry about what you missed out on with the induction kit.
The joys of Alfa Romeo ownernship... A question of when not if!
