Are stone chips fairly common then, because I notice there are quite a few on the front end of the bonnet of mine, and because it's metallic blue and they're showing the white through - it looks unsightly. I'm thinking of getting a company like chipsaway to fix them, but I don't know if its worth paying more for the whole bonnet to be resprayed. I just took it into the alfa garrage this morning and he was suprised to see the white dots/stone chips - seemed to think the car had poor paint adhesion. He even showed me an 80k mile matt red alfa and it looked clear of chips, so perhaps I'm just unlucky considering mine is in for its 24k service.
