I didn't really notice much mpg difference after i fitted my cone. Mainly less as I wanted to hold the throttle open more at low revs (
)) but after I got past that stage it seemed pretty similar.
phase 1 - 150bhp, 1996-1999
(Black bumpers, slightly different style)
phase 2 - 155bhp, 1999-2001
(Colour coded bumpers, different wheels)
Phase 1 - ECU located in footwell, swappable EEPROM type.
Phase 2 - ECU mounted on top of throttle body in engine bay, programmable type only.
Different ECU's were used between phase 1 & 2, so that determines how you proceed..
