Any pic yet oldschool?
Last night found out exactly how crappy my 'HandWank' rear tyres are in the wet. Going round one of my fave roundabouts, little bit of wheelspin, front end drifting out nicely. I let off the throttle slightly, balancing it to control the drift, and the back end started to let go.
It was a tiny throttle adjustment, and I can't believe how easy it was to make the back end start to slide, it didn't go far, and was easy to catch, but it should have been rock solid at that point. So it's time to bite the bullet and spend the money, new tyres are needed.
I'm going to stick with Vredesteins, since I've found them to be excellent, and they've got the best review I've found yet on www.mytyres.com
but I could possibly go for the 205/50's instead of the 195/55's, depending on what your piccies look like.
On the other hand, since I'm only replacing two tyres, it might look a bit daft with different sizes, I suppose.
