I have a similar problemn with my 145QV. It requires a helicoil to be fitted. As I understand it, this is drilling out the old thread and fitting a metal ring, which is threaded on the inside, to accept a new plug.
How the metal ring is attached to the sump, I'm not sure. Welded? Or a reverse thread holding it in? I hope it's not too expensive anyway, coz my car is due it's mid-service oil change, and it'll need the helicoil at the same time.
