8hrs to Bournemouth?!?!
It took me 2 1/2 hrs to get to Oulton, then Bournemouth isn't even 2 hrs from me...
I guess you got stuck in all the holiday traffic?
So....how was the weekend? Did youleave fully clothed, and with your friends? Or did they strip you and send you on train somewhere....</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It wasn't so much holiday traffic as everyone in the UK with an unreliable vehicle decided to take it onto our route and then break down.
Despite the length, it was actually a good journey, as we had a great laugh.
Unfortunately (hah!) a couple of my best man's plans went wrong. One of these was to leave me asleep in the hotel room on the last day, take all my stuff and wait in the car, so I'd have to walk through the hotel and car-park in the buff. But I got mild food-poisoning at the start of the weekend and had to leave the club early on Saturday night (on my own stag do
), so I was more awake than him on Sunday.
His other nefarious scheme was to do with the table-dancing club, he'd booked me an SOS dance (sit on stage), which involves two women dancing on and around you while you sit on stage with everyone watching, would have been highly embarressing, but we got to the club really late coz he forgot the directions, so I didn't have to do that either. Think I got off quite lightly overall.
Bit annoying that I spent most of the weekend feeling sick, but I still had a great time, and I suppose I'd have been feeling sick anyway, but for a different reason...
