I have the variator problem since last year, 20tkm. Finally, I will clock 60 tkm and have a big, lusty inspection incl. cambelt and variator change. Nice! that the service ask for only 750 EUR for the cambelt and variator change.
But, now with this diesel noise, when the engine is cold, there is no power. It goes like a 60 bhp machine. But after the temp gauge hit the middle, there is a sudden push and the performance is back again. (Not all of it) And when I rev to 4500, then I started to loose performance again. Normally, at that rev, it should kick more.
