I have driven a 155 for 3 years and now for 6 years already a 146ti (2.0 TS beacuse a car should have at least 2 litres to get along with the boys...imho)
Very handy car with the hatch back and all the goodies likes abs, ac , electric windows front and back, heated electric mirrors, big brakes in front 284 mm like the GTV and fast if needed , did 230 on the meter within the green of the rev counter. uses 10 litres of petrol for 100 km. No oilcomsumption to mention. I loved my 155 but that one was an original Alfa with alloy engine and used a bit of oil.
Never broke down though! so I would go for the 1.8 as a minimum. Especially if you are a motorbiker.
Rarebear 'fastest piston engine airplane in the world' 4000 hp twinspark (!) radial engine.
Thta's what we call an ENGINE>>>>
