What mileage?
You need to check that it's been properly serviced, and definitely that the belts have been changed at the proper service intervals. In fact, it's now recommended that they be changed every 30-40,000 miles, rather than 72,000 as in the manual.
Make sure you have the dark red master key with it.
Aside from this and the things Rarebear mentioned, it's the same as any other car, check all the electrics are working fine, chcek for even tyre wear (although you can get slightly uneven wear on the fronts, so that's not necessarily too much to worry about)
Also, if you do a search on this forum, you'll find loads of advice, this question has been asked a lot of times before.

Make sure it comes with the master key. This is dark red and has a square handle and is vital should you ever need to re-set the management system (which could be after disconnecting the battery). Without this key you are knackered and they can't be bought without also buying new system costing over 1000!

Make sure it's a red or black one 'cos those go fastest.

It's just done 70,000 miles,
It has had a new cambelt at about 65,000 miles.
Not sure about any other belts or the spark plugs.
But it does have the 'master' key!!!!

Thanks 4 all the help/advice.
I'm likely to purchase this car this weekend
