You need to check that it's been properly serviced, and definitely that the belts have been changed at the proper service intervals. In fact, it's now recommended that they be changed every 30-40,000 miles, rather than 72,000 as in the manual.
Make sure you have the dark red master key with it.
Aside from this and the things Rarebear mentioned, it's the same as any other car, check all the electrics are working fine, chcek for even tyre wear (although you can get slightly uneven wear on the fronts, so that's not necessarily too much to worry about)
