Well, for everyone that doesn't know..
With VAG group cars you can easily:
Monitor real time ECU values - lambda sensor, throttle position, air mass flow, , temp, voltage, rpm, speed, water temp, oil pressure, etc etc
You should be able to plot/log this data. Useful if the car randomly stalls, then you can see what intermittently failed
You can read fault codes in the ecu - which sensor
is faulty, not responding, etc
Reset fault codes - clear engine warning light
Reset the airbag light, reading which one has gone open circuit! (A godsend that one! as it costs £70 each time you want to find out!)
More advanced functions will be :
reading the current fuel/ignition maps from the ECU
modifying them, then writing them back to the ECU!
