Chaps,Does anyone know if servicing is governed by time as well as mileage. Ive checked my service book, but it just states a mileage, and the dealer I called didnt exactly fill me with confidence.

Ive not done the milegae, but its been 12 months since the last one.

I'm tempted to get it looked over, but wanted to see what the official line is?

I've never noticed times in the manual either, but generally 12,000 miles is equivalent to a year, so you can work out the service interval in time from that.

Yes, you go by time as well. Things such as fluids and belts degrade over time as well as mileage.

very important apart from mileage, is the kind of traffic, stop and go/traffic jams or autobahn dashes and everything in between.
In Holland AR dealers got letters from Italy
with shortened service on things like belts, because of the terrible traffic jams in our small overpopulated country (500 people on the squeare kilometre , that all drive (sic) their cars at the same time, and standing still most of the time with overheated engines.
