146ti won't start!
Having a small problem with my 1999 146 2.0ti - it won't start!
Basically, turn the key to MAR and everything comes alive. Fuel pump kicks in, Code and injector lights go out, everything as normal. Turn the key to AVV and nothing happens apart from a 'click'.
I've had the ignition switch and relays tested and everything's fine - 12v is being supplied on the turn of the key. She bump starts no problem at all and runs fine. I was wondering if it could be the starter motor? If so, roughly how much are they and how much to fit? I've seen a few 146 2.0's being broken on ebay and wondered if getting one from there would be ok.
Second problem(!) - when I pull up to a junction and dip the clutch down, the revs drop to near stalling then pull themselves up to 1500-ish rpm before settling back to around 800rpm. She's stalled on a couple of occasions but mostly she staggers a bit then manages to stay running. Is it the MAF? Should I try running with the MAF unplugged to see if there's any difference?
Many thanks in advance for any help!
