My God! I think you're right David, I think this was the first thread I ever started. Not that I've started that many altogether, I tend to just ruin other peoples.
Aah! Wasn't I sweet, all serious, and tryin not to irritate anyone.
@Rick: Thanks for trawling this one up, I'd forgotten all about my update. I'll do it now, shall I?
OK. At the Alfa day, we met an Alfa dealer, who tried to sell me a very nice Cloverleaf jacket, rather than tell him that I'm a pauper and couldn't possibly afford it, I chose to jokingly say to him 'It's very nice, but the cloverleaves are the wrong colour for me.' Before I could continue to explain my weird blue cloverleaves, he said 'Oh right, have you got a 145 with the blue ones then.'
You could have knocked me down with a feather!
I immeadiately yelled at Rick and Nem to come over, so I'd have witnesses (interrupting Rick buying a burglar hat)
Apparently AR did produce blue cloverleaves for the 145 too, but they were only supposed to be put on cars intended for the continental market, not Britain. So whether my car was intended for the mainland, or the wrong leaves were put on it, I don't know, but at least it's official that there were real blue cloverleaves made, they're not faded. So there
It doesn't make any difference to the spec though.
