155 New Key Programming

I have just purchased a new set of locks and need to figure out how to program the new keys using the old master..

The reason for the replacement is that the drivers door lock gave up functioning.

The remote has never worked but I don't think this will be a problem.

Help Please !!!!!!

Swap transponder from original master key to new master.

Insert master key, igniton to MAR code light comes on and goes off.
switch off and insert a slave key, ign on etc.
switch off and insert 2nd slave key, ign on etc.
switch off and insert master ign on etc.

All this must be done fairly rapidly, then all keys are programmed.

Given this a try and can't seem to get it to work.
Will it make a difference if the keys are of a newer kind.
ie the old ones are with the infrared remotes and the new are with the RF transmitter in the key(same as the 147 key).
The Alfa agency have told me that these are the right keys.

In addition are the light meant to do something with the slave keys?

Re: 155 New Key Programming

I have Alfa 156 and its driver door lock also not functioning..

Is it an easy task to buy full set from EBay and to reprogram everything?

If not then how much will it cost on average?

Thanks in advance.
