Re: 2.0 TS 145 Cloverleaf Electrical Problems...
Yep my passenger side switch packed up completely so I stripped it and got it working but after a while it stopped going up again so I gave up and bought a working switch. They are just changeover switches so it's easy to check if it's just the switch by using a multimeter to find the power input then using a short length of wire to bridge the contacts either way on the back.
I didn't realise there were 2 different types, some have the connector straight off the back and others a 90 degree white hood on the back (Normally in the passenger door).
It sounds like you might need 2 the same, by Sods Law I have 1 of each type spare so if you can't find them locally give me a shout if a fiver for one posted sounds okay.
It would be more unusual if you got a working rear wiper as they are prone to jamming. I had to replace the motor on the other half's 146, working second hand ones normally fetch about £30. I have since taken her old one apart, unjammed and re-greased it and put new motor brushes in so we have a spare so you could try repairing yours as it can be done, took me about an hour.
The rear screen washes are prone to the pipe popping off the back and squirting into the tailgate, an easy fix but clean out the nozzle hole with a pin or compressed air first.
There are loads of threads on the central locking if you search the forums, on some models it can be as simple as an after-market radio aerial has been fitted.
