146 Ti Fast Road Tuning

Hi - I know all these questions have been answered before, but thought it might be useful for all new-comers (as well as myself ).....

Is there a guide anywhere as to what upgrades produce best results for the 2.0Ts engine??!

It's just that some people swear by a cold-air induction kit, others say it simply increases noise! What's the difference between Squadra, Autodelta and the original Superchips' chip?! Some religiously fit replacement exhausts, but which one is best?! Is it worth replacing just the rear box, is stainless steel the only way forward etc etc...

I wanted to fit a power boost valve, but was told it would make no difference - my mate's RS2000 (a Ford I know ) flew like sh*t of a shovel after having his fitted!!

Sorry to bang on, but thought if we could get all info in just the ONE place, it could benefit everyone

Thanks in advance fellow alfisti wink

P.S. I had in mind a cold-air induction kit, together with superchip, replacement filter, bower boost valve and new rear box... what do you reckon?!

Free flow air filter
end exhaust (steel)
chip mwaahh better acceleration (little)higher fuel consumption higher revs (with the chance of a valve destruction )
0-60 (mph) 8.0 is enough in my view wink

To do:

1. upgrade air filter. (KD or K&N panel filter is fine)
2. upgrade exhaust system (novitec/supersprint)
3. replace cpu (squadra is good enough)
4. want more? go for novitec supercharger.
5. don't forget to upgrade your brakes!
- steel braided brake hoses
- brake pads (roesch/Tarox/OMP/etc.)
- brake disc
