parts suppliers

Does anyone have a reasonable parts supplier who knows Alfas and doesn't try to extract your wallet whilst your not looking. The reason i ask is i cant help the feeling i'm being ripped off every time i try to order parts.Just phoned round for prices on G88 discs and ended up useing my usual independent alfa specialist(who i cant quite make my mind up about). This guy seems to be able to know how much money i have and then charge me 30 on top.The G88's come in at 340 fitted with Tarox pads including vodka and tonic.Does this sound right. Thanks in anticipation.

running out of money fast !!!!!!

those parts should cost around 230. Glad I changed my disc & pads myself if that's the labour charge !!!
I'd shop around & see what other prices you can get.... have you checked out

Red dot stuff available there. Which I run & have found to be great

Thanks guys.Looks like i've been stung again. The thing that annoys me most is that this guy even kept my old discs and pads(which still had plenty of life in them).I just know they will end up on someonelses car at a tidy proffit. This is a bit rich when the garage is well used by Alfa enthusiasts and has links with AROC.Just goes to show you can't trust anyone these days.Shame to as the guy knows Alfas inside out and does do a good job. Anyone know a good mechanic in the northwest!!!!!!!!!

Hi Phil

I live in Bolton too and was wondering which garage you use?
