i guess i can't really help you much. but as nobody wants to reply i will.
so 16" wheels are no problem at all because they are homologated from alfa romeo for AR 145 QV.
i have already bought 7×17" wheels but i haven't put them on my 145 QV because i'm still waiting for the tyres. i think that 205/40/17 should be no problem. no modifications needed. becase mille miglia has got TUV approval for 17" for 145 so i think they wouldn't get it if they wouldn't fit without problem.
i hope i'll get the tyres in a week or so and i could tell if there were any problems. i hope there won't be.
got 205/45/16's on my 146, the large 5 hole style wheels, looks good, handles well, has rubbed on the odd occasion where i have someone in the back and go over a deep dip or bump! , but only on the odd occasion!
i've put 17" wheels with 205/40/17 tyres on my 145 2.0 QV and it look GREAT. no problems at all for now. i'll see when i'll have fully loaded car if there will be some problems. but i think there shouldn't be any problems.
Hi ya I've put 17" 1000 miglia Evo's on my 1.6 145.The only problem ive got is the clearance from the from bumper to the wheel which is about less than 10mm.This is only because I have the zender body kit.
**** )) my 17" also rub on the bumper (when 1 or 2 persons seat on the rear seats. if i'm alone no problems). but just the left rear wheel (((
has anyone solved this problem??? what have you done? i've been thinking to cut some 1cm of the bumper if this would help!?
anyone has the eibach springs and 17" wheels and can tell me if this problem still appears?????
hey i get that squeak in the rear left side too, but again only when there are 2 peeps in the back.
i have a set of AZEV - H 17" alloys with 205/40/17 yoko's, mad wheels, i got them from Gary from this forum.he works for clovertech, like him if i drop the car (lower) onto the 17"s then the shoks will need to be upgraded and the arches will need to get rolled.
