Two clamps short of a kit.
After much soul searching and money scrounging i have just purchased a K&N induction kit for my car.On arrival i rushed out to gleefully fit my new toy.To my dispair the kt was short of two clamps.I know this is minor detail and easily rectified but the kit instructions if read need four clamps yet the inventory only states three(one was genuinley missing). When i phoned the help line the guy said"Oh yeah there's two missing you'll need to phone the supplier and he'll order them for you".Now for a couple of quid i might as well get my own.Has anyone had the same problem or is this just a one off.If not when you buy an induction kit order 2 80 mm clamps at the same time.Having said that the kit seems ok especially at higher revs.Just one problem is it supposed to sound like a TVR on bad acid at 1500-2000 rpm or have i done something wrong. The wife's going mad cause it don't sound good at Tescos(Like i care). It goes like it goes fine when you hit the loud pedal just thought i'd ask. Wait till the supersprint goes on next week ha ha!
running out of money fast !!!!!!
