Can anyone recommend somewhere for servicing in the West Midlands area?

I don't need it yet but I've just been quoted 480 for the 72k mile service - my car is at 64k at the moment and had the 60k service at 60k.

Also I need to replace the drivers side Cloverleaf mat as it's worn through slightly - the dealer quoted me 40+VAT for the full set, does anyone know anywhere which may sell them individually or where they are cheaper?

Still in debt to you guys....

Not in that area, but if anyone knows of a good one in the east midlands area ie Northampton / Bucks etc let me know. I might try alfaservices in Northampton next, anyone used these guys?

As for authorised dealers thats out of the question for me. Having bought the car as a used approved from my dealer, their service has been nothing but total crap.

Everything has been a nightmare including buying a bottle of oil that took over 30 minutes from the parts department! How difficult can that be? More recently it took 7 phone calls to the dealer and 3 visits before a simple trim clip could be ordered and fitted under warranty (which they then tried to charge me for and ordered a door seal instead!)

Most recently when I called for a service cost they gave me two costs and couldnt tell me the differance!?

Hell on earth and its not just me so it seems! If the sales guy had not been so good, i'd of probably fire bombed the place by now! Trouble is Ive got one service left before the warranty runs out and I dont want to use them! HELP!! Dilema time!

The joys of Alfa Romeo ownernship... A question of when not if!

Hi there Andy...

I'm guessing that the main dealer quoted you that huge amount!! As you are in the Worcester area (I live in Ledbury) the best place locally is in Pershore - It is called NJS where they specialise in Fiat, Lancia and Alfa. It is located near the Pershore railway station(the guys name is Neil) and his phone number is 01386 555523. He services my 155 and is extermely good and not too expensive - the 36000 miler on my 155 cost about 140 and included oil, filter, air filter and fuel filter + a full diagnostic check to fix the poor runing I was having.

Hope this Helps
