hi there, i might be wrong, but on my last cambelt change, the techy replaced 2 of the 'c/s seals' (these i can only think could be cam shaft oils seals, so it may be these that are perished / not correctly seated at the last change, maybe wrong....ps i didnt own the car at the last cambelt change but i've got the reciept which details all the items. hope this is of help, maybe toad or numan racing can assist further (i've only owned the car 4 weeks), but oh how i've learnt quickly....good luck mate, let us know.
right then, in the continuing saga of the variator, it has been changed, along with all sundry items (cam belt, tensioned,etc,etc)at W.A.D. auto development. in dudley, what a service.....defo recommend them to all owners in the west midlands, they've also done service, (needed rear discs and pads), great prices, great service. she sounds like alfa intended now, boy do i love the sound of that engine.
