Also check if the rear washer/wiper works - pricey and difficult to source second hand in working order, having said that, I've just spotted two on Flea Bay.

Radiator replacement, buget for approx £180 all in and don't buy an Alfa Radiator, they're made of copper and fall apart relatively quickly. The aftermarkets are aluminium with hardened platic inlet/outlets and are more durable.
Remove the black plastic cover in front of the battery and check the condition of the relays and wiring - the fuel pump relay is in there as ith the rlay for the key code system; the wring often corrodes.
Also check underneath carefully as the bodies are galvanised, the floors arent.
Exhaust system is pricey and is one piece cat-back, however I understand individual sections can be bought now.
Discs wear with remarkable rapidity as do wishbones and wheel bearings.
Other than that, irritating little faults occur and bits can be quite pricey - obviously, the more history the better and folder full of receipts is always nice.
One last thing - if you see Mayonaise in the filler cap, dont worry as this is exacerbated by a lot of short trips and it'll clear in the warmer months as every Alfa that I have owned has had this issue in Winter.
The car looks the dogs ********* but don't ley your head rule your heart as a dog will cost a fortune to remedy. Mine's been good, but it's cost quite a bit just in "peripherals" to keep roadworthy over the past three years.
