Not another problem, Help please :(
For some reason, since my recent service and replacement battery, my cloverleaf has taken a dislike to the cold.
Since the previous work, it has not started in the same way it used to, it kindof "falls" into life when cold. but if the temp is very cold (0 degrees) it is really hard to start.
For example, this morning, when the engine started firing, i let go of the key and the engine instantly died. The only way to get it started was to Hold the key in long after it was started and rev the engine a little, it would settle into a perfect idle after that.
Done this 2 days in a row now. seems fine when the engine is warm though, if the engine is cold and the outside temp is warm it seems to start slowly, no burst into life like you would expect.
it is not the Maf or the lambda, i confirmed this lunchtime that it revs all the way to the redline (woohoo) and MPG is not that bad (a little low because the ECU has just been reset).
Any help would be appreciated, what is wrong??
