alfa 145 cloverleaf possible misfiring

Hi wondering if any one could help I have a 145 clover leaf and think it may be missfiring sometimes while driving it looses power but then kicks back in and sometime cuts out could this be caused by spark plugs or ht leads or maybe somthing else ????

check the relays infront of battery known as bbob or just search for that on forum or get yourself over to alfa145.com for lots of help

I checked what I think it is your on about they are little grey fuse looking things with bosch written on top I looked at the and when I touched them while engine is running they made clicking noise and engine cut out is this the problem ?

sounds like it they are kept under a black cover that lifts of this is a very common problem you need to clean all the relay conections and the wireing

Thank you what would u say to clean them with and how do I disconnect them do they just pull off? Also been told it may be sparl plug or ht leads is relays best place to start ??

the relays should just pull out clean them up with some sand paper the wires should come out the holders to maybe do them one at a time so you dont forget where they go

when my rocker gasket went i got oil sitting in the spark plug wells and that caused a misfire. quick look in the wells and you'll see if theres any sittin around the spark plugs.
