do i need to code key fob if i change battery?

hi guys and gals before i change my keyfob for my alfa 147 2003 car do i need to code it take to the alfa romeo dealer or can i just get the 2023 battery from supermarket and change myself? thanks

If all you want to do is changa the battery,then it is straight forward.
