water level dropping hole in reservoir

hi, i have just found a tiny pin ***** hole on side of is it called expansion tank where you fill radiator up...anyway i was wondering do you think there is a way of sealing without buying new reservoir...as it is only a tiny hole but is deffo leaking enough water..anyone else had this happen....thanks

clean and rub down around the pin hole,use either some arraldite or some scilicon.make sure it has set before topping up water level and starting the car

rub inside and out ...inside may be tricky....thanks for post.have you used araldite for this before

you only need to do the outside,just to make sure its clean.it also gives the araldite or scilicon something to hold on to.hope it has helped

thanks i have removed tank and i am going to find out how much new part will cost before thinking about fixing..you never can be sure how fixem ups last...but i really appreciate your posts ill let you know how it goes

it's not too bad - i think for you around the 20-25 quid mark... not bad going as our reservoirs look fairly chewed pretty quickly...

damn v6 156 is 42 quid! but not GTA which i think uses same as TS on right side! it's down to 30... wtf?

You could drill the hole out and put a self tapping screw coated in silicone in to seal.
