145 trailer project

hi all,

as some of you may know, i have been toying with a 145 trailer idea for a while, and it is now progressing well

i was going to do a full build thread, but haven't had the foresight to do loads of pics, so i will post up what i have, and update as much as i can

the first three pics are how it is as of yesterday evening. the 4th pic is a really bad mock up of how i expect it to look when finished

the aim is to do it for as close to free as possible. i will obviously need to buy paint, and i have had to buy wire for the welder, and there will be a fair bit of filling and prepping i think but other than that, the project has cost me nothing so far it wont be perfect, but it should be a good laugh at meets. i am hoping to have it done out in Alfaowner decals eventually, to try and use it as a promotional trailer

I recall someone doing one of these previously - looked quite good at the end but wasn't an easy task! I'll try and find the link.

yeah, i know that one, it is Naanbread from 'over there' he is still sorting niggles i believe, but then he got a bit more complicated by trying to make it into a sleeper trailer will be cool if we can both rock up to the same event some time with them though
