flat spot at low RPM clears over 4000 help ?

i have a 1.6 145 W reg and there is a flat spot when pulling from low rpm in the right gear ie
2nd but clears when rpm gets over about 4000 seems to be getting worse any ideas please

Very typical MAF failure. Unplug it and and test the car. It's on the intake pipe between the air filter and the inlet manifold.

if it is the MAF, for gods sake don't make the mistake of buying a cheap ebay one, it will not work

there are planty of threads about getting a cheaper one, i think using a different Manufacturers part number and replacing the element inside, but i can't find it at the moment.

Bosch part number 0281002180 - usually found in vauxhalls. Take the sensor out of the tube and and swap in to your tube.
