no turn signal or hazard flasher

yesterday i went for a drive.when i got to a red light i've knoticed that my turn signals don't work.i tried my hazard flasher and nothing.when i push the hazard button the relay clicks once and then nothing.when i activate my alarm my turn signals light up so i dont think it's a shortcircuit.how do i check if my turn/hazard relay is faulty.hope i explained corectly.

Sorry, was a bit of a 'noob' question but you never now

Dont suppose you have AlfaDiag to hook youre car up to so that you can get the codes read?

location of the flasher relay is under the steering column cowling, it's a fairly generic one used in most Fiats/Alfas etc. If it ain't clicking it ain't working.

You could check there is curent present with a test light on the appropriate contact.

sounds like the relay as it sounds like power is there.

depending on the age of the car, I don't think AlfaDiag works on a 145/6, not early ones, maybe the facelifts. Smaky will know for sure
