Re: door handle problem

If the door is open then nothing would happen when you pull the handle, the latch is already opened.

Re: door handle problem

Could I take it that english is not your first language and your descriptions are not really maiking much sense, but I've never seen locks so badly worn that they've needed to be replaced on these cars so I think you must be really slaming those doors to get them shut. I suggest that you try moving the loop out a little more on the body side and see if that makes the door easier to open.

Re: door handle problem

does it matter what my first language is, my sex, disabled, religion? i have had my 146 since it was 1year old. i can only give you my experience. if auqualis takes the inner pannel of the door and puts his fingers in to feel the action of the door handle to the lock he may feel there is a miss. mine was completely missing. would not catch the engament on the lock. once replaced it worked fine. some things on alfas are really not that complicated! less of the i am o so inteligent!!

I think you took me comments completely the wrong way there, but I prefer the saying "You can train a monkey to fly a spaceship, but it'll never be able to fix it".
