alfa 145

air induction kit

hi,new induction kit arrived today from usanda...very nice.does not use oil on filter like some and needs washing every 25000 also sounds bootiful cost 40.chopped out old filter box and secured it and cloey seems happy with new toy recommended.blinglights.com.get one they sound nuts and wont kill maf

So what make is it? Is it just a panel or a full kit?

okay,okay my use of type is rubbish.blinglights.com is the make of kit.have to say i think she drinks sensibly with air intake on.i will try and upload photo of it fitted it is a huge cone that takes up a good size of where old box was.i am not missing the old set up one bit....yet

No need to chop it out, you just take the wheel liner out and the airbox comes out nicely

Depends how its set-up and how you drive it, in a lot of cases you will be right though.

Complete waste of money.

More noise + no power increase + less mpg = bad move.

If you can route a fairly straight cold air feed and match it to a free flow exhaust you can get an increase in power from them. But yes, on their own its just the noise really

depends on what you want though. If you dont have a grand to spend on fast road or race cams or you dont have anywhere near that can do a remap then you are fairly limited and its one way to make it sound nice (depending on your taste and the kit) and to get a little extra power out of it
