Which other car dealers use the examiner particularly for resetting service mileage?Took my car for service and they forgot to reset the mileage after service. They are 2hrs from me and would rather do it nearby. My old garage sold their examiner.
It can be done without examiner, I think it involves pressing some buttons on the info display, sorry don't know as I've got the older 156 without these gadgets. I may be totally wrong, but I think you had to change the units into km and find an extra menu that comes up somewhere.
David C, previous info. from you, greatly appreciated and very informative, thanks. Really need to show my total ignorance on most subjects Alfa related, so----- if the Service Light is not re-set with Examiner, does it stay on indefinitely or what?
As I said before - you can't with the 147's!!!! The 147 does not share ANY of the electronics from the 156. Even eLearn says you need Examiner to change it.
Thanks Sergino, my garage just forgot to do this, so will try it tomorrow.
Too cold to venture out to the car right now
