The crazy winds we've had have resulted in a tile flying off my roof and landing on my bonnet resulting in a pretty big dent, which I suspect is unrepairable along with some very deep scratches on the side of the car.
It's probably going to be an insurance job but just wanted to know my options before paying 500 quid excess and increased premiums for a few years.
Sorry to hear, knew I was going to see some posts like this today...............make sure you get a genuine bonnet, even go 2nd hand if its an original part. I had a new bonnet on my S years back after a small prang, they used a pattern bonnet and it bubbed round the badge after just a year. Whats up with the roof? marks or a crack, either way its expensive so I guess you will be right on insurance job, unless its just lightly scratched which a specialist glass company may be able to get out for you?? Best of luck getting it all sorted, 'kin weather.
Similar problem with my Spider, but with the boot.
A ridge tile has bounced off it this morning & left a dent .
Will see what the bodyshop people say...
Few years ago my friend had 2 cars damaged by falling tiles, both were covered by his home insurance if I remember correctly... His wife worked her magic, shes an excellent negotiator somehow
Car has been approved for repairs by my insurance.
New bonnet and windscreen are being done this week but the roof has to be ordered from Italy, they've been told that it'll turn up on Monday but I'll believe that when I see it.
