I'm in the middle of converting a (Euro 2) 2.5 156 to run a GTA (Euro 3)motor. I was looking at the 2.5 engine as it was sat on the garage floor last night wondering if the manifold will clear the GTA's oil cooler gubbins on the back of the engine - the 2.5 has a small heat exchanger set up.

Another problem you could be up against, aside from the emmisions issue, is that the down pipes from the maifold could be different. You might need them of a 2.5 and some mechanism to hook them up with the euro 3 GTA exhaust.
