Re: What are the five best upgrades for a 147GTA?
Mods so far to my 147 GTA:
Aragosta E Sports Suspension
ARC Anti Roll Kit
Unicorse Titanium Tower Bar
Bollente Rear Parallel Link
Bollente Front Lower Bar
Ferado GS 2500 Brake Pads
Goodrich Braided Brakelines
Delphi 5.1 Brake Fluid
Potenza RE-01R Tires
Asso Sports Intake Pipe
K&N Sports Filter
Hot Inazma Hyper Voltage & Ground System
Phillips Blue Vision (High Beam/Fogs)
Redpoint Fiberglass Engine Undercover
I would say the most transforming change I have made was the Aragosta adjustable coilover kit, followed by the anti-roll kit. As great as the 147 GTA is, it is extremely topheavy which you feel clearly under hard cornering. Roll is quite pronounced as well which the ARC kit eliminated almost completely, even at it's loosest setting. I think the braided hoses and pads were an excellent investment for me as well since I tend to drive hard on long curvy mountain roads and found a good amount of fade with the OEM pads and hoses after hard braking into about 20-30 turns. The undercover is a nice cheap way to increase your ground clearance, and the additional strut bars were also quite inexpensive as well....
