During the lovely weather my cars air con has been fine keeping me nice and cold, but a few days ago it stopped. Now I think the actual air con unit is working as I can feel a very small amount of quite cold air coming from the vents, but the fan that blows it hard won't work however much I adjust the air+ and - buttons. Sounds like your blower motor has gone. I believe there is a Saab substitute but it doesn't work all that well so you should check out second hand, refurbished or bite the bullet and go for new. You can do the job yourself if you're handy with a spanner but before you go that route, get yourself a multimeter and check the electrics, fuses, etc. and make sure it's not something simple.
