Thanks all of you for reviving that.
I'm actually trading the car in in a month or so (for a GT - hooray!!!) so I've returned the 147 to factory spec (16" wheels) in readiness.
However, I'll bear everything you say in mind since my GT will have 17s on it, and therefore the same 215/45 tyres I did have on the 147.
