I had a little play with a new shape convertible M3 the other day across the A414 from harlow to the A1. Very evenly matched the cars were,I think a hardtop M3 would have eaten me alive but th erag top weighs more so it was very even APART from the brakes...... OMG, when hot the standard 305mm GTA brakes faqde very easily, I had one of those heart in mouth foot on the floor 'is it going to stop' moments.....

On a seperate note had a blat with an EVO 7 in the Integrale the other day - mid range type driving, 3rd and 4th gear long sweeping bends.. he couldnt keep up in 3rd, but 4th he was all over me. Not bad given my car is 89 and his 2003!
