Cheers for the photie, I'd forgotten for a minute just how delicious the GT was.
Now come on; having the same floor pan as the 156 hardly justifies the sartorial criticism. Heck, dozens of cars have the same floor pan but look and behave nothing like each other. Witness almost the entire VW/SEAT/Skoda range, the old 164/Saab 9000/Fiat Croma/Lancia Thema cooperation, all of them with completely different looks and driving characteristics. try and view the GT as a car in it's own right and if you get the oppurchancity (hardly likely as they are so rare) to see one parked next to a BMW 3 series Coupe and Audi TT you won't fail to agree that the GT has a beauty all of it's own
According to your observations the Brera front end has been nicked from the face lifted 156 - and you may be right, but it don't make the Brera or 156 bad lookin' motors.
