In regards to Tyre wear, the issue with the tyres wearing on the inside is because of factory settings with the tracking. It is designed to give you better road holding. Just take notice of the wheels in Touring car racing. If you go to an independent wheel alignment specialist that knows what he is doing. He will adjust the tracking a little so the wearing will be minimized and not sacrifice cornering all that much. After all we are not racing drivers. Well I am not anyway!
I myself take it to TRU TRACK in Melbourne. He is a bit more expensive, but hey! Do you appreciate driving?
And also I fitted 245/40 19 Khumos rather than the 235/40 19 Pirellis. They are half of the price and seem to be a good tyre. No problems with the speedo.
