I'm just playing Devils Advocate, but if you declared it SORN on line, and didn't send back the tax disc, does that mean they won't SORN it until the tax disc is with them or will they SORN the car and just expect that people are going to send in their tax disc because they'll been told to and they also have an added benefit of getting a refund on the remaining amount?
I doubt that there is any law/fine for not sending it back (I haven't checked this, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)?
