I think I have finally had some success with sorting my EGR issue on the Brera, got a new "Mk 2" EGR off fleabay (Vauxhall p/n 55215031), got the old one off, but one of the gaskets dropped into the engine bay, got some new ones from a local Vauxhall dealer, in conversation he said (very knowingly) that Vauxhalls that use the same engine (16v 150bhp 1.9jdtm), had terrible problems with EGR, I wondered why they kept an obscure gasket in stock!!. Put the new one on, and fired up, immediatelt the tick over seemed smoother. I also noticed that the p/n of the EGR from the Brera and GT were exactly the same (55204250), dated 2005, so I think these may have been the "Mk 1" EGR that had a dodgy solenoid
