Fair point - I agree.
Most people (including my gf) are bored of F1 simply because it is so predictable now - you just know that Michael Schumaker (sp?) is going to win. I guess in years to come, many of these people will reflect on this and harp on about how they were witness to the hay day of the greatest ever racing driver.
Personally, I still enjoy F1 - I still get excited about the scraps further down the field (e.g. Trulli/Rubens/Button at the weekend - even though we hardly saw any of that on the TV
). It is a very different type of racing than rally etc - more about strategy and finesse, than the all-out manic excitment of WRC.
